Claire is a graduate of Laine Theatre Arts in 2004, having gained a Musical Theatre Diploma and professional Dance Teaching qualifications.
As a child performer, she played Gretl and then Marta in the West End Production of Sound of Music, (Wimbledon Theatre and Saddlers Wells) Young Cosette in Les Miserables (Palace Theatre) and then a Workhouse Child in Oliver! (The London Palladium). She also performed with the National Youth Music Theatre at the Edinburgh Festival with the production of Bugsy Malone.
Her TV and Film credits include Gilly Clement in the Laughter of God (UK and USA), Little Miss Pennyfeather in Playdays, Clara in Children of the New Forest and Martha Cratchit in A Christmas Carol staring Patrick Stewart. (UK and USA). She has appeared in many television commercials including Mr Kipling’s, Baxter’s Soup, Camalot Scratch Cards, PG Tips, Nissan, Kia, Toymaster, Wrigley’s chewing gum and a selection of commercials for Bombardier Ale with Rik Mayall for the TV channel DAVE.
After graduation, Claire appeared in Mamma Mia at the Prince of Wales, London and then went on to the Mamma Mia International Tour where she covered and played Ali and Lisa in both productions. She is also one of the four original members and dance captain of the Mamma Mia Mini Troupe that promotes Mamma Mia worldwide traveling to countries including Malaysia, Singapore and Taipei. She has even been lucky enough to travel as far as New Zealand appearing on the Finals of Dancing with the Stars.
In 2012 , Claire arrived back home to the UK from a 3 year contact working as an Executive Production Assistant to Jean Ann Ryan, Supervising Choreographer and Casting Director for Jean Ann Ryan Productions in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.
Claire was approached to choreograph, musically direct and cast the European Tour of “The Best of Musical Starnights” for three consecutive years. This production show of West End and Broadway Shows was in cooperation with Midas Entertainment and World Wide Events.
As a free lance choreographer, her credits include the off West End and UK Tour of “Lady Anna: All at Sea”, “Live From Las Vegas” for the Hilton Foundation Charity Event at Hilton Hotel, Park Lane and The Brewery, the UK Tour of “Rapunzel Rocks”, “Dick Whittington” , “Cinderella” and “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at Harlow Playhouse. Last Autumn, she directed “The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe” in associate with the Harlow Charitable Association. This Christmas, she will be heading back to Harlow to choreograph and be associate director on the production of“ Beauty and the Beast”
Claire is also resident choreographer for West End Experience Workshops where she teaches and performers all over the UK and Jersey.
Claire is also the Children's Administrator at Kinky Boots UK.
